Le Chalet is situated on the edge of the delightful hamlet of Lescale which is just 2.7 miles above Puivert with its local shops, bar, large bathing and boating lake and a restuarant. Puivert rests towards one end of a stunningly beautiful valley which stretches for several miles with dramatic colours representing each of the four seasons and overlooked by its historic Chateau. Behind Lescale is a road which winds its way up into the mountains towards the skiing resorts of Camurac and Ax Le Thermes with its ski lifts and hot spa waters.
